From a Soul The Enemy Couldn't Win
I know you want to break me down,
but you will never win.
The person standing before your eyes
refuses to fall or be bound again.
Your warfare had one intention: to destroy my mind until I’d self destruct.
But looking back I see God allowed those very storms
to refine and build me up.
Your tactics are to drain me, isolate me, and throw obstacles at every turn.
But in time you’ll see I profited from the endurance and every lesson that I've grown to learn.
I’m happy, whole, and healthy now
and know I’ll never be the same.
So take your loss, because I carried my cross and beat you at your own game.
