You are strong. You are beautifully and wonderfully made. You are capable. You are resilient. You are refined. You are an overcomer. You always have been and always will be worth it.
It’s easy to get caught up in the storms of life and even easier to mentally stay shackled to them. Even when our circumstances change, we manage to stay condemned and crushed due to our mental prison or because we're being judged by the court of public opinion. Lucky for us, how we feel doesn’t dictate our fate. We can’t lose sight of the fact that our journey isn’t intended to end there. No matter how it feels or what others think, we are better than that.
Regardless of what’s said, done, or thrown at you it’s important to never forget who you truly are. It’s critical that you remember that you are not defined by any experience, person, problem, or pain. Whenever the weak try to call you down by your fears, failures, and shortcomings, remember that the only people that can pull you down are the ones beneath you.
Long before you had an insecurity and others had an opinion, God gave you a name and a purpose.
